While it isn't the first time fans have been treated to a fight featuring Pochita in his true form, the battle marks a significant change in the relationship between him and Denji. Whereas the 'Hero of Hell' Chainsaw Man only ever appeared when his teenage version was out of commission, Chapter #187, titled simply, "Barf!", showcases the old friends working in tandem.
