My Dress-Up Darling Anime Sequel Gets 2025 Release Date

The sequel anime for My Dress-Up Darling has announced a 2025 release date on the cover of the upcoming issue of Young Gangan magazine. The sequel was initially announced in September 202, no were provided until now. The format of the new anime has to be specified. The text in the bottom corner states:

"Sono Bisque Doll wa K wo Suru (My Dress Darling) TV Anime Sequel Broadcasting in2025!"

My Dress-Up Darling is a Japanese manga series written and drawn by Shinichi Fukuda. Square Enix is publishing it in both Japanese and English. The first anime adaptation was animated by CloverWorks and directed by Keisuke Shinohara. It was a 12-episode TV anime which aired in Winter 2022. The voice cast includes:

• Shouya Ishige as Wakana Gojo

• Atsumi Tanezaki as Sajuna Inui

• Hina Youmiyama as Shinju Inui

• Atsushi Ono as Kaoru Gojo

• Nowa Sugaya as Larissa Tago Takeda

• Misaki Kuno as Liz

• Sakura Tange as Mirai Tengeji

• Akira Sekine as Rune

• Yusuke Shirai as Kaname

The anime was directed by Keisuke Shinohara, with series composition by Yoriko Tomita, character designs by Yusuke Yamamoto and Kazumasa Ishida, and music by Takeshi Nakatsuka. Crunchyroll is streaming it.

The story follows Wakana Gojo, a high boy with the goal of a kashirashi, a master craftsman of Japanese Hina dolls like his grandfather. He meets Kitagawa, one the popular girls in school, whose passion is cosplaying. Wakana now crafts incredible costumes for Marin as the two navigate the cosplay season while slowly developing feelings for each other.
