Of the six classes currently available in Path of Exile 2, Mercenary leveling is one of the easiest. While some classes struggle with hordes and can get overwhelmed, or have to stay in melee range to remain effective, Mercenaries have tools available to deal with just about every combat situation. 2. The eternal struggle of good versus evil spans centuries in the Castlevania universe. From the Belmont family of hunters to Alucard, there have been a lot of heroes to contend with the Prince of Darkness himself: Dracula. As a result, there have been a multitude of Castlevania games with sequels and prequels alike, and a rather convoluted, confusing timeline. View the full article

  3. Infinity Nikki is centered around collecting outfits: some help Nikki defeat other stylists in contests, complete her compendium, or simply take great photos. Others grant her special powers that assist with material collection for use in other outfits, exploration, and combat: these are called Ability Outfits. Players are given one to start with and can unlock the rest via tutorials and progressing the main story. These outfits are all critical to exploring Miraland, but some are more useful often than others. View the full article

  4. There are quite a few quests in Path of Exile 2, but some aren't obvious or aren't added to your quest log at all. This is the case with the Golden Idols Path of Exile 2 players can collect throughout Act 3. These items are labeled as Quest Items, but don't exactly act like one. View the full article

  5. Even though it is still likely a few years away, The Elder Scrolls 6 has a lot riding on its shoulders. Bethesda's follow up to its massively successful and perpetually popular predecessor, TES5: Skyrim, has remained on the minds of the many fans who are eagerly awaiting the next installment of the studio's flagship RPG franchise. And the longer the wait goes on, the more The Elder Scrolls 6 remains the subject of much speculation about how precisely Bethesda aims to deliver a title that will honor the series' legacy and fulfill players' considerable expectations. …

  6. An expected part of any Atlus game is a diverse cast of characters that players will grow to know over the course of the game, and Metaphor: ReFantazio is no different. Building bonds with the protagonist's Followers is a core part of Metaphor: ReFantazio—much like the Social Link mechanic of the Persona series before it—allowing players to get to know the game's cast on a deeper level. While Metaphor does a great job of fleshing out these Followers, one in particular feels strangely reminiscent of another Atlus IP. View the full article

  7. World of Warcraft is making big changes to the Hunter class in Patch 11.1, with pets being able to change specializations, Beast Mastery giving players the option to only use one pet, and Marksmanship losing their pet altogether. Assuming none of these adjustments are tweaked in response to fan feedback beforehand, Hunters in World of Warcraft will see these changes in Patch 11.1, likely some time in February. 10. Jujutsu Kaisen’s epilogue chapter was recently revealed with the release of the final volume of the series, and it is safe to say that it added quite a bit to the already exciting ending. Fans got a 16-page epilogue that focused on multiple characters, such as Ozawa, Nobara, Panda, and of course, even the likes of Sukuna. Gege surprised readers with the final volume, and it is safe to say that it certainly elevated certain parts of the story, while raising more intrigue about others. View the full article

  12. The Dead Space franchise could have a tough road ahead of it, as original creator and director Glen Schofield recently confirmed that EA rejected a pitch for a fourth mainline game. Since the first game released in 2008, Dead Space and its successors have gained a reputation as being some of the best horror titles of the 21st century. After the first game was remade and launched last year, many longtime fans were hoping that interest in the franchise had been reignited, but that appears to not be the case. View the full article

  13. The 2024 update to Dungeons and Dragons 5e has seemingly come with intentions of maintaining the existing system against mostly minor tweaks, but the general direction of its adjustments veer towards a clear vision for the game's future. Despite familiar core systems that aren't altered enough to justify a new edition entirely, the layers of depth added to magic in particular already have the potential to define this era. The reliance on this side of Dungeons and Dragons has become a mounting criticism, but continuing to embrace new spell offerings and expand on the fantastical could be turned into a strength as time passes. …

  14. In case it isn't clear from the premise or the story itself, pirates are the central faction of the entire One Piece series. The narrative follows the Straw Hats but every single pirate crew in the series functions around the same parameters, with each character filling a certain niche or specialization within it. Without the inclusion of these characters to fit their roles, a pirate crew wouldn't be the same. View the full article

  23. The Team-Up feature in Marvel Rivals provides the 6v6 hero shooter with some of its most thrilling opportunities mid-match. Ultimates may be where a lot of characters demonstrate how overpowered they can be, but a team synergy composed of Heroes who are collaborating with one another can be what secures most points and earns them the victory. Some characters don’t receive an additional ability during their Team-Up and simply provide it to other characters, so of course it is situational and not everyone will want to play a certain character if only to activate that niche power-up. …
